Dundalk Church of the Brethren Donates Christmas Offering to FCC

February 1, 2010

If you know the history of the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County, you already know that the organization was originally started 30 years ago through the Dundalk Church of the Brethren. In 1991 those involved decided that the Family Crisis Center had grown to a level beyond the Church’s ability to govern, and the Family Crisis Center was incorporated into a private, non-profit organization.

Over the years, the Dundalk Church of the Brethren has continued to support the Family Crisis Center in many different ways.

Today, the Family Crisis Center received a very generous donation from the Dundalk Church of the Brethren’s Christmas offering. Delores Barr, Chair of the Leadership Team at the Church, and 40-year member, told us:

One of the reasons we chose the agency is because of it’s response and outreach to the community in times of difficulty.

We wanted to thank the Family Crisis Center because it really provides an important service to those who are in desperate situations.

The Family Crisis Center thanks the Dundalk Church of the Brethren, it’s Leadership Team, and it’s members for their continued support.
