FCC Executive Director on University of D.C. Broadcast

As a part of the Bowen Center’s Family Matters University of D.C. Streaming Live Video program, Douglas Murphy, Executive Director of the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County, discusses his views on the issues of domestic violence. Mr. Murphy, a member of the faculty of the Bowen Center, is one of many presenters from the Bowen Center who discuss a variety of issues concerning families, organizations and society.

The streaming broadcast of Family Matters is produced by the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family and the University of the District of Columbia.

New Video – Drawings from the Safe Shelter

The Family Crisis Center has put together a new video, which gives a glimpse into the lives of some of the women who have stayed at the Safe Shelter over the years.  The video is a compilation of drawings from these women, who chose to draw about their lives before coming to the shelter.  Click here to view the video, or visit our page on YouTube.
